Our Mission and Philosophy
Rincon students will be guided toward independent, resourceful behavior to broaden their capabilities and sense of self-worth. Our students will be taught awareness, respect, and appreciation of diverse cultures so that they will value the rights of others. In preparation for success in the real world, Rincon students will develop an awareness of the importance of resourcefulness, respect, and responsibility to themselves and others as they become citizens of the 21st century. All students will be prepared academically to broaden their future choices in life.

Students at Rincon Middle School will realize their potential to become productive adults. The staff will continue to be cognizant of the characteristics and unique needs of the adolescent and will provide a safe, supportive and stimulating environment that will enable them to become lifelong learners. The staff will implement and maintain a rigorous academic core program to ensure improved student achievement. Students will receive support academically, socially, and emotionally to meet the needs of each child.
