Before and After School
Our Rincon Bulldogs can participate in a variety of activities before and after school that will support their success.
Many teachers offer after school homework time. Grade and subject specific. Check the calendar for specific details such as where and when.
Rincon has many clubs offered to students after school: Coding Plus, Guitar, Embroidery, Flag Football (September/October only), TED Ed, Golf, and more! Students can listen to Morning Announcements for information about additional clubs.
Coding Plus Club
We have 3 different robotics platforms for any level of experience. Learn drag and drop programming or write lines of C++ code. Build parts and make them move. Compete in online challenges or design your own! Fridays 2:45-4:00 in rm. 49
Girls Golf Club
Mr. Grovom and Mr. Hudson: Girls Golf Club meets on Thursdays in the Fall at Reidy Creek Golf Course from 3:30-5:00. All girls are welcome, equipment is provided, no cost to the students. Most girls are beginning and introduced to a new sport. Many of our students continue playing in High school. Golf season for girls in high school is in the Fall.
Boys Golf Club
Boys Golf Club begins in the spring and aligns with the high school season. All boys are welcome. Most boys have little or no experience.
Join other Embroidery enthusiasts after school on Wednesdays in room 18 with Mrs. Porter.
Fellowship of Christian Athletes Club
This is a student-led club where students are able to exercise and express their faith in words and deeds. The lead student in this club is reaching out to FCA to work on getting Federation of Christian Athletes bring lunch time activities to our school. This is a volunteer club anyone is welcome. We will try to reach as much of Rincon as we can to be leaders sharing the Word creating disciples. This is a 100% student lead club. The club will begin meeting Wednesday during first lunch in room 20.
Graphic Design Club
Tuesdays after school 3:00pm - 4:00pm, students meet in room 7 to work on Graphic Design. Club facilitator is Ms. Josephson.
Students meet Friday's after school in Mr. Demcak's classroom to play guitar. Room 46
This is an invitation only club that meets once a month (schedule not available). We are a positive action group doing great things for ourselves, our school, and our community. Advisors are Mrs. Fragozo and Mrs. Rojas
Ted Ed Club
Ted Ed Club members have an idea or passion they want to share with others. This group of students work to make a difference and connect with others across the globe on issues that matter to kids. Meetings are Wednesdays, 2:45-3:45 in Room 27. TED Ed Club Website

PREPARE for success Time
Personalized learning paths with Compass Learning Odyssey that addresses needs in math, reading, or language. This support is by invitation only. Facilitators: Mrs. Rojas and Mrs. Gross

Invitation only - Tuesdays and Wednesday 7:30 - 7:55 and 2:45 - 3:15
Teacher recommendation required to participate in support program to foster success in math class.
