Hello Rincon families, this is Mr. White, Rincon Principal, with school announcements for the coming week. Thank you to those parents and guardians who were able to attend last Friday’s Coffee with the Principal. We appreciate your involvement and partnership as Rincon community members and look forward to your continued support. Thank you also for ensuring that your students remain hydrated and do their part to stay cool during the current heatwave. We have limited physical activities for students and have opened our air-conditioned Multipurpose Room during lunch periods so that students have a cool place to relax until the excessive heat shifts to normal temperatures.
Don’t forget that Rincon will hold its BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT on Monday, September 9th. Classroom presentations by teachers will begin promptly at 6:00 p.m. A Back to School Night student schedule template has been provided to all students for parent and guardian use. Parents and guardians will follow their students’ schedules, period by period, at Back to School Night. Please arrive before 6:00 p.m. so that you can find parking and be on time for your child’s ADVISORY class presentation which will start the evening. Be sure not to miss this important beginning of the school year event!
Registration is underway for Rincon’s Fall Session of After School Enrichment classes. Please review the Enrichment Class Schedule with your child to determine interest, and be sure to register by the Thursday, September 12th deadline. Use the QR code on the Enrichment Class Schedule to register your student. All After School Enrichment class offerings are FREE, but space is limited.
Remember to exercise caution when driving near campus during drop off and pick up. Please do not have your student cross traffic lanes. Pull all the way forward in our drive through lane to keep traffic flowing. Ensure that your student arrives to school on time each day with a fully charged iPad. School begins promptly at 8:00 a.m. every day. Classroom competitions will take place each month for the best attendance, and the classrooms with the highest attendance percentage will be recognized.
