Greetings Rincon Community,
Welcome back! I hope you all had a restful Thanksgiving break and enjoyed special moments with family and friends. As we dive back into our school routine, I want to emphasize the exciting weeks ahead as we approach our winter holiday break.
These next three weeks are a wonderful time to be present and engaged in our classrooms and activities. We have so much to look forward to, including our upcoming winter concert, the vibrant ASB winter dance, and the delightful book fair. Each event offers a unique opportunity to celebrate our hard work and to come together as a school community.
Additionally, we will be recognizing our achievements in the upcoming trimester awards Principal breakfast in a few weeks, where we will honor the dedication and accomplishments of our remarkable students. It's a time of celebration, reflection, and gratitude for all that we have achieved in our first trimester.
Let’s make these weeks count by supporting learners regular school attendance. Your support and enthusiasm enrich our school community. I look forward to celebrating with all of you as we embrace the spirit of the season together!
Friendly Reminder, RMS Families!
Our iReady Assessment windows are coming up! Please help your student be prepared by ensuring they attend school every day, get plenty of sleep, and eat nutritious meals. Remember—Rincon offers free breakfast and lunch to fuel their brains!
Encourage your student to do their best, take their time, and make their best educated guess if they’re unsure.

November Attendance Challenge Celebration
On the Friday before break, we were so glad to end the day celebrating our amazing BULLDOG students for: Perfect Attendance AND No Tardies with an ice cream social. All these students received an early 15 minute dismissal ticket to hang-out with friends and enjoy a cool treat. Each month our students continue to increase the perfect attendance and no tardies, September there were 202, October 222, and November 270! WOW! Keep up the hard work Bulldogs. Stay tuned to hear all about the next attendance challenge.
Thank you once again for your continued support. Together, we can make this a fantastic year for our students! Together we are better in setting up our Bulldogs up to B.A.R.K (Believe, Achieve, Respect, and Kindness) for success!
With gratitude,
Principal Meglich
