Greetings Rincon Community,
A HUGE appreciation to our teacher, Miss Josephson for her innovation and leading this project. We are thrilled to announce that our school has been awarded one of the many grants provided by the Escondido Education Foundation. Rincon received $3,000 grant for our proposal, "Celebrating the U.S. Semiquincentennial"! This interdisciplinary initiative will honor the 250th anniversary of our nation. We can’t wait to see our students’ projects showcased at multiple events throughout the year, as they explore and express their reflections on our nation's rich history and culture. This grant will enable us to foster creativity, collaboration, and communication among our students while aligning with our School Plan for Student Achievement. A big thank you to the Escondido Education Foundation for believing in our vision! Here’s to an inspiring year ahead as we celebrate our nation’s birthday and fostering empowered learners at Rincon.
What a magical evening! Our winter holiday concert on Thursday was a fantastic celebration of talent and holiday cheer! Students from all three levels of our band showcased their incredible skills, while our choir filled the air with beautiful harmonies, truly singing us into the holiday spirit. A huge thank you to all the students for their hard work, our music teacher, Ms. Barlow, and the families for their encouragement! We loved seeing everyone come together to celebrate the joy of music. Here’s to more memorable moments like these!
It was such a cheerful Family Day at lunch on Friday with record number of attendees, making it a day to remember! Thank you to all the families who joined us; your presence brought so much joy and energy to our school community. We are truly grateful for all the laughter, conversations, and connections made during this special event. It’s heartwarming to see everyone come together to celebrate our school spirit as we build a strong sense of community. Here’s to more wonderful gatherings like this in the future! Thank you for being such an important part of our Rincon community!
