Greetings Rincon Community,
I want to take a moment to acknowledge the start of the week posed some unsettling situations that unfolded. Despite those hurdles, we are using this opportunity to foster open dialogues about real-world issues that impact us all and how to navigate issues that generate a lot of passion. Our classrooms have been and will continue to foster productive dialogue. We believe it's essential for our students to engage in discussions that matter, and we are excited to announce the formation of a new Principal Advisory Council. This council will allow students to voice their thoughts and ideas and be the change they wish to see in the world in safe and appropriate ways.
In addition to this initiative, we had the pleasure of celebrating high-quality writing at the annual writing celebration at Bear Valley. A heartfelt congratulations to our talented writers who were recognized for their outstanding work:

Congratulations to all our young writers for their hard work and creativity!
Thank you to all for supporting the celebration of our 100th day of school. Our Rincon Bulldogs stepped up for our community by participating in the 100 Day Non-Perishable Food Challenge! Together, we collected over 1,000 food items for our local food pantry, making a meaningful impact right at home. A huge shoutout to all our advisory classes for their dedication and generosity. Together, we’re proving that Bulldogs truly know how to make the world a better place!
Empowered AVID students took the spotlight at our recent staff meeting, showcasing their incredible leadership and dedication to learning! They expertly guided us through WICOR strategies—Writing, Inquiry, Collaboration, Organization, and Reading—deepening our understanding and enhancing our teaching practices. Their insights and enthusiasm are a testament to the power of student voice in shaping our educational community. Together, we’re fostering an environment where every learner thrives!
Thank you once again for your continued support. Together, we can make this a fantastic year for our students! Together we are better in setting up our Bulldogs up to B.A.R.K (Believe, Achieve, Respect, and Kindness) for success!
With gratitude,
Principal Meglich
