Greetings Rincon Community,
As we approach the final week of Trimester 2, which ends on February 27th, I want to remind you that there's still time for students to submit assignments, retake tests, and reach out to teachers. This is a crucial time to support our scholars in meeting their goals, and we believe they can achieve more than they think possible.
This week is particularly important as teachers will begin calculating final grades for Trimester 2 on Friday, February 28th. Report Cards will be mailed home on Friday, March 7th. We encourage you to review your students’ progress during this trimester and discuss any areas that may need attention.
In March, we will be hosting our Second Trimester Principal Breakfast Awards, where we eagerly look forward to celebrating all our scholars for their bronze, silver, and gold achievements. It’s a wonderful opportunity to acknowledge their hard work and dedication.
As we transition into Trimester 3, we want to emphasize the importance of monitoring academic performance, especially for our 8th grade families. According to EUSD policy, 8th graders must maintain a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.0 or higher to participate in the end-of-year 8th Grade Promotion ceremony. Your involvement is key to their success!
