Greetings Rincon Community,
As we reflect on our recent Staff Appreciation Week, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you for your continued support. Your involvement and encouragement truly make a difference in our school community.
Can you believe it? We have just 17 days left in the school year! With so much happening, I want to ensure you stay informed about important updates:
Block Schedule & Testing: Our block schedule will continue as we wrap up state testing for students who have not completed it yet. Additionally, we I-Ready assessments have also started. It's crucial that students get plenty of rest, enjoy a healthy breakfast, and come prepared to show what they know.
Yearbook Sales: Yearbook sales are happening this week during lunch! If your student hasn’t purchased their yearbook yet, this is a great opportunity. All yearbooks will be delivered on May 29th during our first-ever Yearbook Signing Block Party, so be sure to secure yours this week!
Elective Choices for Next Year: Our 6th and 7th grade students have been tasked with submitting their elective choices for next year. Many electives require an application, so please check in with your student about their selections.
Staff Appreciation Week Wildly Celebrates the best guides for our learners
What an adventure-filled week — wild trails, sunrise views, and laughter around every bend. Deep gratitude to our incredible Rincon staff — there are no better guides to lead, teach, and inspire. It’s been a joy to celebrate all of you this week; your energy made every moment unforgettable. Here’s to more journeys together. A special thank you to our PTSA, Marcos Pizza and families for all your support this week!
8th Grade Harbor Cruise
Breaking news! The 8th grade Harbor Cruise is back! Students ate, danced, laughed, and soaked in the stunning S.D harbor sights — plus some awesome wildlife sightings. So thrilled this event is back and the start of all new tradition. Anchors aweigh to many more memories!
Together, let's embrace the exciting weeks ahead and ensure a fantastic finish and. Together we are better in setting up our Bulldogs up to B.A.R.K (Believe, Achieve, Respect, and Kindness) for success!
With gratitude,
Principal Meglich
