As we approach the end of the 2025-26 school year, I want to take a moment to reflect on the journey we’ve had together. This week will be a short one, with school in session on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Our last day of school is June 10th, which will be a minimum day, with dismissal at 11:48 a.m.

During the final days of school, we will continue collecting all student materials. If your student did not return their iPad, charger, ELA textbook, library books, or any other barcoded item checked out to them last week, please ensure these items are returned ASAP to the Rincon Library to avoid any fines. Additionally, please remind your student to check the Lost & Found container for any missing clothing or personal items. All unclaimed items will be donated to a charitable organization after the final day of school on June 10th.

For our 6th and 7th grade families, you have received an email and text if your student is receiving a trimester award on Monday or Tuesday. Please make sure to RSVP using the link provided in that message.

8th Grade Families will receive a reminder text message on Tuesday with details about the upcoming 8th Grade Promotion Ceremony, which will be held on Wednesday, June 10th, beginning at 9:30 a.m. in the Rincon Pavilion area. Trimester 3 report cards will be mailed home on Wednesday for all students.

Rincon Middle School’s Art Show

It was a stunning celebration of creativity and learning! Our MPR was packed with high-quality work—from beautiful semiquincentennial pieces honoring 250 years, to powerful 8th-grade Holocaust artworks that moved everyone, to math & science students donning their architect hats to demonstrate area and volume through their model towns. Proud of every student and teacher who brought these stories and skills to life. Come see the brilliance of Rincon!

Lastly, a reminder that no backpacks are needed during these final three days of school.

As we conclude this school year filled with many firsts, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to each of you for your support, involvement, and dedication to our school community. Together, we have made this year a success. Let us carry forward the lessons we've learned and the memories we've created as we look forward to new adventures in the coming year.

Together, let's embrace the exciting weeks ahead and ensure a fantastic finish and. Together we are better in setting up our Bulldogs up to B.A.R.K (Believe, Achieve, Respect, and Kindness) for success!

With gratitude,

Principal Meglich
