Fall finally feels like it's here and I hope everyone is enjoying this rainy weekend. I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated in our first schoolwide Student-Led Conferences. This new practice marks an exciting step forward for our school community, and your involvement made it a resounding success.
Student-Led Conferences empower our students by placing them at the center of their learning journey. Here are some key benefits we witnessed during this first event:
Ownership of Learning: Students took responsibility for sharing their progress and goals, fostering a sense of accountability for their education.
Enhanced Communication: These conferences provided an opportunity for students to articulate their learning experiences and reflect on their achievements with their families.
Strengthened Relationships: The collaborative nature of these conferences helped to strengthen the bond between students, families, and educators, creating a supportive learning environment.
Development of Skills: Students practiced important skills such as public speaking, self-advocacy, and goal-setting, which are essential for their future success.

PTSA BOOK FAIR
A heartfelt thank you to our PTSA volunteers for hosting our first Book Fair for the year! We appreciate all you do for our school.

How does PTSA help:
School Events: "We host tons of events like school, family, and after-school activities, book fairs, holiday parties, & dances."
Fundraisers: "We help raise money for Rincon, when state or district funding falls short."
Teacher & Staff Support: "PTSA organizes teacher & staff luncheons, Teacher Appreciation, & funds teacher classroom grants & more."
